An airplane tour circling Denali and landing on a glacier 16000 ft up to explore the serene, silent landscape.
This was an incredible adventure I took with my father while in Anchorage, AK. Through Talkeetna Air Taxi, we got to tour a full sweep around Denali (Mt. Mckinley), and land on a glacier 16,000 ft up. Being on the glacier, I would imagine, is similar to what it would be like on the moon. It was the most silent place I have ever eperienced. This company does te most glacial landings in the world, and is an absolute must do!
