Additional Information

Day 1: San Francisco to Yosemite
Welcome to the Golden State. We’ll kick off this adventure in San Francisco with a quick meet and greet. From there, we’ll head to Yosemite. It’s about a 3.5 hour drive. After settling into our sweet digs, you’ll get a chance to kick back and relax with some drinks.

Day 2: Yosemite National Park
We’ll spend the morning volunteering with the National Park Service (or a related forestry service). The project will vary based on their needs at the time. This is a great behind-the-scenes look at what the National Park Rangers do on a daily basis. Afterwards, you’ll have 4 hours of free time to explore this majestic beauty.

Day 3: Yosemite Hike Day
Bust out your hiking boots for Day 3! After a big breakfast, we’ll head into Yosemite and (weather-permitting) hike the Mist Trail to Vernal and Nevada Fall. This is a moderate 7-mile round trip hike including two of Yosemite’s most scenic waterfalls.

Day 4: Drive to Lake Tahoe
We’ll drive about 2.5 hours to scenic Lake Tahoe and do some good with the folks at Keep Tahoe Blue. Afterwards, you’ll get a few hours of free time to explore downtown South Lake Tahoe. Take the evening to relax with some drinks by the fire.

Day 5: Tahoe Hikes
Our last full day. It’s time to get our hike on again. We’ll head over to Emerald By State Park and take advantage of the scenic vistas and crystal clear blue water. Afterwards, we’ll head into town for a group dinner and reminisce on an epic trip.

Day 6: Drive back to San Francisco
We’ll depart Lake Tahoe at 7am for a 3 hour and 40-minute drive back to San Francisco Airport. *Please book your return flight for after 2pm (PST) to allow for enough time.
