This site is perched on a hill, overlooking the Christmas tree fields of the farm and the rolling valleys of the Blue Mountains. Bring your hiking boots, mountain bike, or other outdoor gear and enjoy the hundreds of accessible acreage and miles of trails. Stop by the main house to swim or kayak to cool off in our pond. Continue on down to the barn and come say hi to our horses. Accessible by any car, it is a short drive up to the campsite, allowing easy unloading and the ability to go for a drive to check out the many aspects of our local culture. Tour old coal mines or Yuengling, Americas oldest brewery. Spend an afternoon at a local farm market and pick up fresh goods to cook on the fire overnight. Travel through the quaint mountain towns like Orwigsburg, and visit Hawk Mountain, one of the world's best bird observatories. Or, simply enjoy the seclusion and serenity of the Slippery Creek Farm. Whatever you are looking for in your getaway, you will find it here!
