Kuliʻouʻou Beach
Honolulu, Hawaii
Description
Added by The Outbound Collective
Kuliʻouʻou Beach Park is located just off of Bay Street in the Hawaii Kai neighborhood of East Honolulu, Hawaii. There is a parking lot with additional street parking nearby.
The beach offers a very shallow shelf for quite a ways offshore. This doesn't make for a great place to swim, but is good for families with little ones or for taking your pup in the water as long as you're staying close to shore. From the shoreline, you can easily see Koko Head to the east.
The park offers a basketball court, picnic areas, and a restroom with an outdoor shower to rinse off.

Kuliʻouʻou Beach Reviews
Kuliʻouʻou Beach was a place to take my 13-month-old. With the shallow water quite a ways out, it was great place to let her walk/wade in the water, then head back onto shore to play in the sand. Bonus, there's an outdoor shower at the restroom, which was really helpful in rinsing her off after rolling around on the beach. If you can, head here at sunset for the view!
