This was an awesome place we came across for spring break. The hiking was rocky and wet in places, but the views were great. We made the mistake of taking trail 526 on the way out and it was shin deep bog for most of it. With soaking wet shoes we found a spot in the woods to camp and dried by the fire. The second night we went to the first campsite by the river. It was a nice spot but it was right off the main trail. After hiking up the river we found a spot on the left side where others had camped before. To get to it cross the wood bridge and immediately take a right. Go into the woods and follow the river. You will have to cross the river but there are large rocks to step across. If you follow it all the way up there is a boulder field that is pretty amazing.
