My fiance and I originally found this on google, months prior to our trip. We planned our day driving the golden circle almost with the sole intent of finding this waterfall. It was an adventure unto itself, trying to find the trail. I only recall seeing one sign pointing to the general direction of the fall, and that was about it. I can confidently say that this waterfall did not disappoint! It was one of the rare opportunities where we could just let the camera click, and soak in the beauty of this country: no lines, no buses, no giftshops. I've heard that local farmers are becoming increasingly frustrated with disrespectful tourists tearing up the landscape, so do take the time to check it out... before they fence it off!
