This was the first mountain I’ve ever climbed, it was the cap activity to our two week field course for forest ecology. The trail was technical and challenging is various places, bouldering opportunities and steep in others. Not hard enough to prevent one of our members with a hurt ankle from pushing to the top. Some additions were added to the trail to make it easier to summit (a wooden ladder of sorts to scale the last rock face near the peak). There are lots of places along the way for views, the top was excellent and it was nice to have scenery as we went up. The Three Brothers were a nice little extra. Not 5 stars because I have nothing else to compare it to. We went early May, so we didn’t encounter many other visitors and had the trails mostly to ourselves. There was still snow and some ice closer to the peak. Fairly wet, bring water proof shoes and layers!
