Easy-to-access trail with lots of parking. 180 degree views of LA and the perfect spot for an unobstructed view of the sign!

Summit Mount Diablo via Rock City Trail

This hike is up hill/down hill the entire way. It rarely flattens out, but provides excellent views of the valleys below, or an unreal view of the clouds/fog from above. Leave early and allow plenty of time for this trip, but it’s certainly worth it.

Dripping Cave in the Aliso & Wood Canyons Wilderness

This hike was very simple and super easy. Very busy and highly trafficked. This would maybe be a better area for a run or walk with small children. Not a crazy adventure, but still cool to see the cave and read the historical perspective!
