We saw a whale! The ones in the “valley” have less privacy and views, but still great. Note that this isn't a rugged backpacking trip but any stretch of the imagination. That being said, is great for beginners and anyone looking for an easy, local trip along the coast!

The run up is long, especially if you include the fairly significant him to get to the bottom of the steps, but the view is great. If you need a breather but don't want to stop running, try running back and forth along one of the streets that intersect with the steps.

The stairs are cool and the view is great, but the footing can be tricky, especially if you're going down since the steps are sometimes submerged in sand. Might not be great for people with bad ankles for that reason.
