Paddle Board at String Lake

If interested in taking a stand up paddle board (SUP) out in the Grand Teton National Park, just stop by Dornan's to rent one. Dornan's is located at the south end of the park in Moose, WY. Go to the Adventure Sports building where friendly faces will help you rent a SUP for an hourly or day rate. They'll even help you load and strap it onto your vehicle. 

After renting a SUP, head over to String Lake, located off of Jenny Lake Road on String Lake Road. You can pull your vehicle up to a loading zone to unload the SUP then walk directly to the lake to put in.

String Lake offers fairly shallow, clear waters and remains calm unless it's an extremely windy day. It's perfect to paddle around and explore, while admiring the Tetons looming in the background.

Great activity for the whole family, however can get crowded mid-late afternoon in June and July.
