A cool adventure in the Menomonee Reservation during the winter!

Located 30 minutes north of Shawano, the Big Smokey Falls are east of Highway 55 on the Wolf River. The falls are located off of Dells Road. During the winter, the road is not plowed, so visitors can park on the side of the road. The hike in follows this road, and hikers will see signs for the falls along the way.

There is a picnic area on the island in between the falls. In the summer, there is rafting available through Big Smokey Falls Rafting Company and a concession stand operated by the Menomonee Reservation.
