Camp at Big Eau Pleine County Park

Mosinee, Wisconsin

Description

Added by Tammy Molepske

This county park offers so much to do like- camping, swimming, trail hiking, to walking and biking, horseback trails, frisbee golf, and of course fishing!

Great campsites for any size set-up. We reserved a lake side site with electricity, close to the beach area. In mid June the water was quite refreshing but algae blooms are typical as the stagnant summer heat sets in. Fish off the shore or drop in a boat to troll for walleyes. We walked the trails at dusk and enjoyed the fireflies lighting our way.
