Take a gradual ascent through a lush forest to enjoy stunning views from the top of Rattlesnake Ledge.
If you’re looking for a fairly easy hike with a great view from the top, the hike to Rattlesnake Ledge is just for you. The Ledge is located on the eastern end of Rattlesnake Ridge, and is the perfect spot to enjoy panoramic views of Rattlesnake Lake, the Cascades, Mt. Si, and Snoqualmie Pass.
But it’s not just the summit that’s wonderful - you’ll spend the entirety of your gradual ~3-mile ascent enveloped by lush fir trees, ferns, and mossy boulders. You’ll feel like you're walking through a magical forest.
When you've completed the hike, head over to the lake and reward yourself with a cool dip! The trail can get crowded on summer weekends, so try and get there early. During the winter, trekking poles and crampons may be necessary. Be cautious along the Ridge.

Rattlesnake Ledge Reviews
Pretty easy and quick hike, took us about 1 hour to make it to the top! Would make a fun and challenging trail run, the path is in great condition!

This is a perfect hike for beginners who are visiting the Seattle area. While it can be a bit busy, the trails are well kept and the view is astounding. It's a two mile hike up to the ledge, which allows you to get in a workout without tiring yourself out for the remainder of the day.

I went on a sunrise hike, I really enjoyed the views the ledge gave me and would recommend anyone to do a sunrise hike here. The walk down gave us the golden sun rays effect in between the trees. It was really gorgeous.
