This was a fantastic day hike, suitable for any level of hiker. It is a quick 4km round-trip, with very little elevation gain. Upon completing the first half of the hike, you end up on top of Dog Mountain with gorgeous views of Metro Vancouver, all the way over to Vancouver Island, and even into the surrounding backcountry. I took my dad on this hike when he came to visit in the summer and he absolutely loved the high reward-to-difficulty ratio (haha).
