Description

Franklin Falls is an easy but pretty hike with low elevation gain and great for families who want to spend time together outdoors but don't want a lengthy backcountry hike.
The parking lot, located just east of the Denny Creek Campground, can hold around 15 cars and there is overflow parking along the roadside if needed. The trail winds its way along the picturesque South Fork Snoqualmie River for the majority of the time until it reaches the base of Franklin Falls. This hike is doable all year round (watch out for ice during the winter) and in the summertime offers a refreshing way to cool off in the heat due to the relatively shallow pool and water spray at the base of the falls.
