Enjoy a small section of the Pacific Crest Trail to Eagle Rock.

Located in Warner Springs, park across from the fire station and head southeast on the PCT.

The trail starts out along a creek and woodsy area. Continue along the trail for about 1 mile and the scenery opens up to rolling meadows and fields of wildflowers (depending on the time of the year) Another 2 miles or so, you will come up one a rock formation that doesn't look like much. There is a small sign attached to one of the PCT trailhead posts that says "Eagle Rock". Follow the trail that wraps around to the other side of the rock formation and voila! You have made it!

The hike is roughly 6 miles round trip. Elevation gain of around 1,000. Family and pet friendly. I would not recommend this hike in the summer months or when the temperature starts to rise. Once you get into the meadows it can get very hot.
