If you’re lucky enough to catch Alta immediately after a recent storm, you’ll be in for a treat as Alta powder is possibly the best in the world! Alta is located about 45 minutes from Salt Lake City at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon. The drive up through the canyon is gorgeous and will set the stage for some epic times on the mountain.
