Description

This area has the largest collection of Arches in the world, making this a great hike to not only explore double arch, but take in a few others as well.

The hike to Double Arch is a relatively flat and easy hike of 0.5 miles roundtrip. You can add this to the rest of the quick spots you may want to visit on your visit to Arches.
This arch is created by two arches that shares the same stone as the foundation for their outer legs. This arch was formed by downward water erosion as opposed to the more common side-to-side erosion.

The good news is that there's a fair amount of parking at the parking lot, because visitors also tend to park there to visit the Windows section of the park.

These are some of my favorite arches in the NP and only a short walk. This parking lot will likely fill up early so get there during the off hours to make that easier

Easy short hike to a amazing double arch. And its massive. Look along the trail and see many other arches in the nearby cliffs.

Arches National Park has no shortage of beautiful, short hikes. But with that comes the crowds. Plan to visit early in the morning or late at night especially on weekends. The parking lot for this hike is large, but it does fill up fast with how many people come to visit Double Arch and neighboring hikes. Beautiful arches and landscape though! Please remember to stay on the trail and not trample the delicate crypto soil. There are signs everywhere, but I still saw so many people stepping off trail. This soil can take YEARS to grow.
