Hike to the Wind Caves, UT

Enjoy spectacular views of Logan Canyon on this 3.7-mile hike. It can be crowded on a weekend, so best to get there early. No fee to park.

As you drive up Logan Canyon, you'll see the trailhead on the left side of the road, just after Guinavah-Malibu Campground. It's a fairly steep hike, but also very well maintained.

The Wind Caves are probably the most popular hike in Northern Utah and for a good reason. As you can see in the pictures, you can look out to Logan Canyon from the cave with a great view. If you look across the canyon, you'll be able to see the China Wall, a mile-long wall of limestone that is way cool and you can also hike parts of that.

Some very spectacular views can be seen from the caves, and if you go at night, you will see amazing views of the Milky Way. Hiking the Wind Caves at night can be dangerous if you're not prepared so be sure to bring headlamps and flashlights if this is the route you go. With lighting, the path will be super visible!

Amazing views of the canyon

Logan is a beautiful area and this hike does not disappoint. Parking is easy at the trail head right off the roadway. Trail is in great condition and well traveled so that I didnโ€™t feel worried while hiking alone. And the views...amazing!

Really popular hike! If youโ€™re interested in going off trails and doing some amateur climbing to get to the top itโ€™s worth your while ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Fun On Snowshoes!

We visited in the winter and snowshoed in. There were great ice formations inside the caves. Very beautiful! I want to visit again in the summer, although I hear it is pretty busy.
