Easy, mostly level trail along the beautiful Virgin River in Zion National Park. The trail ends at the entrance to the Narrows. A great hike for families.

This fairly short and level trail begins at the last stop of the Zion Canyon Shuttle, called the Temple of Sinawava. There are many different spots where you can hop off the trail and walk down to the edge of the Virgin River, which is the gorgeous river that cuts through the Zion rock.

The trail is family and wheelchair friendly. The end of the trail has a nice surprise, a collection of cairns! You can add your own cairn to the collection or just snap a photo of all the little towers of rocks. You can also take a small peek at the Narrows as the Riverside Walk trail dead-ends at the entrance of the Narrows.

Also look out for friendly squirrels! The squirrels will come right up to you because they are used to being fed. Don't feed them as it's not good for their health but definitely snap some pictures of them, they're adorable!
