If it's stunning landscapes you seek, then there's no better place to be in the United States than Utah. Mesa Arch is located in the 'Island in the Sky' portion of Canyonlands National Park near Moab.

First things first, check the sunrise times and make sure you arrive at the Mesa Arch Trailhead at least two hours before. You need to claim your spot so the earlier you get there, the better. This is a popular spot to watch the sunrise, so there will be a lot of people there.

The trail itself isn't anything special, just a quick 5-10 minute walk and you're at the arch. Pick a spot at the edge of the cliff or front of the arch and watch the canyon floor come alive.
