Description

The Saratoga Hot Springs, located just off the northwest side of Utah Lake is a perfectly heated hot springs. The hot springs have easy parking and are open all year round.

Awesome all year round, but one of the best places to chill out during winter. The water is just hot enough to feel amazing and escape from the cold. This place is public and not supervised. It does close from 10pm-6am and police have been known to pass by and enforce it.

Pulling in to the parking lot, just take the first pathway which goes out past the bathrooms. Follow it for about 10 minutes and you will see the pool on the left. It's really easy to access and the hike is a quick walk. This is an awesome place to take a date or to recover after a long day of hiking. You can hang out here for hours; the water is less smelly than most hot springs and it doesn't get too crowded. Weekends do tend to get more crowded than weekdays.

You can get some awesome views of the sunset as well. If you go in the winter, make sure you take a backpack to keep all your stuff in. It's also a good to have a tarp to lay your stuff on because it can get very muddy around hot springs.

Saratoga Hot Springs Reviews

this is such a fun place to go and relax at. We followed the directions written and we found it with no problems. (400 s is not a light just FYI) I went at night and it was great, definitely bring glow sticks, some people gave us theirs and it was awesome! also it is definitely family friendly- winter is the best time to go!!

GPS brought us to a community pool just down the road so pay attention to the directions in the comments. We stopped here on a road trip. It was a perfect quick little adventure along the way. Made a day of driving much more fun! Short walk and a cool spot right off the highway.

there are definitely better hot springs in my opinion. check out Fifth Water Hot Springs.
