Tony Grove Lake is a very popular lake about 35 minutes from Logan via Logan Canyon. Parking is $6, but this more than a fair price to pay for everything included with this lake. The trail that most people use here is the nature loop, which is a 1.2 mile trail that goes around the lake and includes basically no elevation gain. Your experience at the lake completely depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for hiking trails, Tony Grove is the trail had for the hikes to Naomi Peak, White Pine Lake, and Mt. Magog, which can be seen from Tony Grove. The lake is a popular fishing spot as well. Many people use the lake for kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing, and swimming at the small beach on the South end of the lake. Several picnic benches and campsites surround the lake, so it is the perfect place to bring the family for an afternoon of fun or even an entire weekend. Tony Grove is truly a treasure of the Bear River Mountain Range, and its easy access and plethora of activities make it a must visit.
