Longest slot canyon in the world

This is a short trail, only 1.7 miles one way, but it connects to Buckskin Gulch, the longest slot canyon in the world. Luckily, if you lost in the wave lottery, you can hike this instead, if you're in the area.It is an interesting hike, you'll be hiking in a wash in the exposed sun for awhile until the canyon walls close in on you. Then you'll be hiking the last part that looks like Antelope Canyon. There are 2 areas where this becomes advanced-you'll have to climb down 2 steep drop offs. It's best to make sure at least one of you can climb down and climb back up, before everyone does it. It eventually leads out into Buckskin Gulch, and if you continue on, you'll head right. If you head left, you'll head to Whitehouse trailhead, where there will be camping, but is 19.2 miles hike total, so it's not recommended. Please be mindful of the weather. Flash floods can occur in these canyons. Also, there are rattlesnakes, be careful of where you step.Trail head is on House Rock Valley Road, off Highway 89 in Utah, east of Kanab. You'll need a high clearance vehicle, as the dirt road is unmaintained.
