Get ready for a unique mountain biking experience in the volcanic highlands of Guatemala. Aimed at intermediate mountain bikers with a taste for the undiscovered, this mountain biking adventure will take you through old growth forests, ancient Mayan settlements, lush river valleys, and the exclusive El Zur mountain bike park. You'll even have the chance to ride segments of the Guatemalan Enduro and DH circuit. All while enjoying views of volcanic valleys and the majestic Lake Atitlán. After spending your days riding, wind down each night at boutique-style and eco-lodge accommodations.

For the first half of the trip, you'll be based out of Antigua and explore the local trails on day rides. Antigua sits in a valley surrounded by three scenic, 10,000+ foot volcanoes, as well as several minor ridges. Rides are shuttle-supported, and the individual ride profiles are varied and provide rewarding climbs and big descents for riders looking for a challenge. Terrain changes between local microclimates and includes, but is not limited to, cobblestone, double-wide jeep track or farm roads, singletrack forest floor, rocky volcanic gravel trails, and more. The second half of the trip starts off with a visit to the archaeological site of the ancient Maya city of Iximche'. From there, you'll embark on a cross-country ride as you make your way to world-famous Lake Atitlán, where you'll spend two nights before returning to Antigua.
