Instructions given were good, but for some reason the GPS coordinates were off. After parking at the pullout, go back up the road (south) about 100 yards to where the shoulder is blocked by stacked brush on the west side. You'll find the trail there. You will head WSW toward the canyon rim to a point where you can safely get below the rim and then traverse NNW toward the kiva. There are cairns to guide you, but if you don't find the main trail then you might find yourself following other trails that go to the rim north of where you want to descend. Other GPS coordinates found on-line are in much better agreement with my Garmin coordinates. Try 38.418389 N 109.919222 W.
