After reading other reviews and talking to some locals, I was so excited for this hike. Unfortunately, the crowds were just RIDICULOUS, and I went during April which is not a peak time. The views were spectacular, but in my opinion not worth it for the amount of people you share it with. There are so many other hikes with spectacular views that you have all to yourself. The number one issue I had with this was the number of people literally pushing past others. The last .5 miles of the hike is pretty narrow and steep, and you have drop offs on each side. It's plenty wide enough to hike through, but when you have inexperienced "hikers" (I'm using that term loosely here) pushing their way through, it gets a little uneasy. I wish I could've enjoyed this hike more, but the crowds ruined it.

Why view a geyser with 500 other people when you can have the area to yourself (or maybe just a few people)? Lone Star Geyser was so spectacular and a much needed experience after the let-down of Old Faithful. We shared the eruption with just one other group of hikers, so it was truly an unforgettable experience. We didn't have to worry about crowds and people in our photos like we did at Old Faithful. The hike is pretty easy, a good trail that is paved most of the way. There was still some snow on it during our visit in early May, but it was easily passable with hiking shoes. This is definitely a must-see!

This was an awesome 8 mile hike that allowed for spectacular views of Bryce Canyon. The only downside was that there were still more people on the trail than I prefer, but that is usually what you get in a National Park. The hike was moderate, and anyone in good fitness would not have a problem. We finished in under 4 hours, and the elevation change was gradual. Great hike for Bryce Canyon!

My husband and I did both of these on our very first slot canyons, and they did not disappoint! Spooky is a bit more technical, but it's still manageable without ropes if you are experienced with scrambling. There were many people turning back due to a large drop off, but if you go under the obstacle, it's not bad. Peekaboo was beautiful as well! Great family friendly hike.

I enjoyed Corona Arch far more than the hikes in Arches National Park, mainly due to the amount of people that are in the park. This hike gets much less traffic and is much more enjoyable!
