Description

The ACE Basin represents one of the largest undeveloped wetland ecosystems remaining on the Atlantic Coast. Undeveloped and unpolluted, the habitat remains diverse and extremely productive.
This is a great place to spot wildlife and walk around enjoying the scenery. Live oak trees and rice fields together create a diverse habitat. See creatures from the forest, air, and water. There are a few different short trails to walk but the longest is around the rice fields. In the spring you want to be careful because there are quite a bit of baby alligators around the rice fields.
