An incredible spot for public land camping outside of Zion National Park. We arrived early afternoon to the road and were able to park our sedan on the side and walk up a draw to a great campsite that had an old picnic table. It was a little ways off the road but we wanted to be away from other people. Most of the camp-able places right next to the road were taken. If you have a 4x4 you could have driven up the wash we walked up and there was a guys campsite way up that trail and he would pass us in his truck every morning and night. This was mid October. Lots of ammunition cartridges were scattered around and several other camp sites were further up the wash but you could technically pitch camp anywhere on that BLM land.
