Constantly smiling. Passionate about the outdoors. Always up for a new hike.

If you're looking for a ^relaxing get away that's not too far from home, this is the hike/walk for you. The rice lake loop trail is nestled in the trees away from all the sounds of the city. The terrain is easy to manage, and the volume of people depends on the weather. Generally, there is a fair bit of parking and so it's not too hectic. My favourite time to walk here is when it has just finished raining, and the mist is in the midst of lifting off the water!

Lynn Canyon, with its mesmerizing emerald blue pools. Amazing! Because of this, there is definitely a steady and heavy flow of tourists on the easier trails. If you deviate slightly and do a bit more of a challenging trail, there tends to be less people. Parking tends to be chaotic (so good luck.) The loop features a lovely boardwalk and easy to manage terrain. Definitely a great place to go for a quick walk! Usually takes about 30-45 minutes to complete when going at a steady pace.
