Located only two miles from downtown Saratoga, this is a great spot to relax for a picnic at the site of the old quarry, or explore the 64-acre property on the trails.

This beautiful park combines the historic quarry with a great picnic area and small network of trails. Picnic tables are scattered throughout the remains of the old quarry's infrastructure, making for a unique picnicking environment. Mostly flat trails make for an easy stroll around the park to take in the scenery, while a short 0.1 mile walk up the steeper hill gets you to a scenic overlook. The trails are very versatile, and you can take a very short stroll or combine the trails for a longer walk.

A spacious gravel parking lot provides free access to the park, and you can walk through part of the old quarry structure that's lined with historic photographs of its operation. The upper, flat portions of the trail make for a great run with incredible scenery. Kids and adults alike can enjoy exploring what's left of the quarry, as the park contains two old tunnels and machinery intertwined with beautiful flowers and running water.

A drinking fountain and bathroom are available at the parking lot, and a trail map can be found through the park's website.
