Description

This short hike through a unique and old Cyprus forest leads right down to Moss Beach. A great place to hang in the woods or down on the sand.

The Bluff Trail starts at the end of Beach Ave right by the famous Moss Beach Distillery. The walk leads through a Cyprus grove and continues on along the cliff side passing through what seems like an infinite collection of dense trees. You'll see the Cyprus trees on the far side forming your classic tree tunnel guiding you towards the coast.

It truly looks like a set of a mystical fantasy land. There are even a number of small huts that people have built from the fallen branches from the trees. If I was a kid again I would be battling imaginary creatures through the forest for hours.

The walk continues on out of the forest and onto the cliffs with views of the ocean and the seals below. The path leads down to the beach, which is a popular spot for checking out the tide pools at low tide. This is a great little walk that I highly recommend taking your time as your stroll through the trees and along the beach!
