If you care about Greenway, wildlife and quality of life in South Forsyth County, be advised that an Amazon Fulfillment Center is being built just north of the McFarland Greenway parking lot. 100+ acres will be clear-cut for an estimated 2,600 cars every day - 7 days a week on Shiloh Road. The project begins early in 2021 and will be completed by Christmas. The parking lot is designed for 1,800 cars, trucks & vans, the oil & water runoff of which will flow toward Big Creek. If you are frustrated with how much Big Creek Greenway floods now, as well as current traffic congestion, just wait until Seefried Industrial Properties finishes this project! Save the Greenway!!!
