Distance: 4.8 miles roundtripElevation gain: 160 feetExcellent views of the ocean

Start at the trailhead and walk down the trail until you reach the junction at the half mile mark. Then, turn right and head up the trail towards Cape Falcon. You will find many old spruce trees growing throughout the hike up to the Cape. The trail weaves in and out of the forest and has many views of the ocean and the beach down below. On a clear day, you can see the town of Manzanita to the south from the top of the Cape.
