Description

Added by Austin Jackson

This is a short (0.8 miles) hike 2 hours from Portland with the view of an excellent waterfall. The road down to the parking area is very rough, so be sure to have a sturdy car.

Once you drive down to the very end of the road and park at the gate, you'll want to take the trail about 100 feet from the parking area. Be careful not to take the closest one because someone has fallen on this trail and it is dangerous. The trail goes downhill very quickly and eventually you will reach the river. Once you reach the river, hike upstream for about a quarter mile and you will find the falls. Once at the falls, you can walk to the sides and swim (in the summer).
