Exploring Pearl Street Beach's Arch Rock
Added by Ben Lertsakdadet
Great location for viewing the sunset. Awesome spot for paddle boarding, body boarding, diving, and fishing. Short walk down to the beach. Beautiful setting for photos. Tidepool formations.
Pearl Street Beach is a great spot to just chill and watch (and photograph) the sunset with friends and family. Parking for the beach can be found on S. Coast Hwy (the 1) and is meter parking. There is also free, but limited parking available along the smaller streets closer to Pearl Street Beach, such as Agate St. or Ocean Way. To get to the beach, look for stairways located on Agate St. and Ocean Way, which will take you down to the sand.
Pearl Street Beach is best known for Arch Rock, which is easily accessible if the tide is lower than 3 ft. (1 m.). Make sure to check the tide charts before heading out there. Many tide pools form in the cove area just past the arch, which makes it a great location to bring younger children to view marine wildlife.

These photos are exactly what you see. An amazing arch, a great beach, perfect for photos and just to get away from it all.

Sunset spot
Really beautiful spot to watch the sunset! If the tide is low, try going through the arch and there are some great tidal pools and Wood's Cove on the other side (another great beach to hangout at).

Cool
I enjoyed this place a lot. Not only is there an arch there is a big rock that is great for pictures. It wasn't crowded so it was a good break from the other beaches. It's pretty easy to climb onto the arch which also makes great pics. Had a lot of fun here and there was a beautiful sunset
