Limestone top rope rock climbing on beautiful cliffs in southwest Ohio that is great for beginners to learn and more experienced climbers to enjoy as well.
Seven different climbing sites with difficulties ranging from 5.6 to 5.12, John Bryan State Park offers a little bit for everyone. Whether you are new to the sport or are an experienced climber, there is something for everyone to enjoy here. All routes are designated by colors and have designated anchors at the top of the cliff to setup top rope routes through. Each cliff is about 30-60 feet in height and should only be used for top rope routes. If you are also interested in learning to rappel, the black route is setup well for this too. Overall this area has a lot of great limestone rock climbing for all rock climbers to enjoy.
