Hang out above the clouds on this 5.2-mile hike in Jørpeland, Norway.
On the day i was there it was rainy in the morning so the trail and everything else was wet.
From the parking lot the trail is well labeled and the hike being a short 2.6 miles is pretty tough since the elevation changes over 1000 feet. The once rough trail has recently been redone by some Nepalese Sherpa and its much more tourist friendly.
The hike takes you through the woods and as i mentioned up some rocky faces which can be slick, so good hiking shoes are recommended. As you'll see from one of the photos, sandals and heels are not good for this hike.
At the top you'll hike around a few lakes before taking the trail along a step cliff to the plateau. From here, you get beautiful views of Lyse fjord. and if you're daring enough a cliff hanger photo op you'll never forget.

Hike to Preikestolen Reviews
I did this hike in 2014 and it is still the best hike I have ever done. Incredible views, extraordinary nature, and nothing short of worth it. Anyone who completes the climb will surely feel the same. It is worth the time!
