The ease of accessibility makes Looking Glass Falls a popular spot for travelers along U.S. 276, Forest Heritage Scenic Byway, near Brevard in the Pisgah National Forest. You can enjoy nice views from the parking area along the road. if you want to get a closer look, take a short walk down the steps which lead to the falls.
If you're careful, you can walk out onto the rocks in the pool below the falls, but be careful of the mist off the falls with your camera. For best photo options, consider coming in the afternoon closer to sunset. The sun rises behind the falls, so it's best with the late day light or on a cloudy day.
