Description

Added by Jess Fischer

Only a mile down an easy trail you'll find Skinny Dip Falls, a little slice of heaven complete with waterfalls, multiple swimming holes, and crystal clear water.

Park at the Looking Glass Rock Overlook. After enjoying the view of Looking Glass Rock, gear up and head to the right side of the parking area (right side if your back is to the overlook). On the opposite side of the road you'll see a mile marker and a little trail to the left of the marker. Follow this trail for a mile and you'll arrive at Skinny Dip Falls! You can keep hiking up and around the falls or climb all over the rocks surrounding the swimming holes. It's incredibly easy to get to!

If you want to camp in this area there are multiple unofficial campsites you can make camp at. You will see them off the sides of the trail in plain sight and you can choose which you want, if you so choose to camp!

* Also shortly after you start hiking you'll see a tree that has been said to look like a deer, gazelle, dragon, giraffe and more! It's pretty cool.

Skinny Dip Falls Reviews

This is a gorgeous area. It was decently busy when we went even on a week day. Super dog friendly.

It was chilly when we went (and the water was freezing cold), so we didn't really get in, even though we wanted to. We enjoyed hanging out around the falls & climbing all around them. Really cool!

We hiked this beautiful and easy trek to skinny dip last spring. Water was freezing cold and absolutely stunning. I love that it's dog friendly. My only complaint was that it was very crowded so early in the season and there was a lot of trash and littering. Please please please always leave no trace!
