Flee the Terror of the Urban Bourgeoisie

Greensboro, North Carolina

Description

Added by Sam Shikuski

While it's far from wild it's a great place to get maximum nature for minimum effort. Great for creek exploring and hammock napping.

At the end of Green Street just past First Presbyterian Church lies Fisher Park. In the middle of Fisher Park lies the confluence of two small streams, both optimal for exploring. It'd be foolish to attempt any exploration in these streams after a strong rain. Also, there are a couple good trees for setting up hammocks and reading books.
