I hiked Annette Lake yesterday and I am sore today. The hike was beautiful but a bit more strenuous than expected for a novice yet active hiker. I did hike solo though so I was moving faster than if I were with others. The trail is well maintained but the last third of the hike poses some tripping hazards with loose rocks and tree roots but the lake makes it worthwhile. I would definitely do this hike again.

Hike the Naches Peak Loop Trail

I hiked this trail yesterday and while the trail is very easy it was also the most beautiful hike I've completed. I felt like I had been picked up and placed in a children's fairytale book. Dogs are not allowed on this trail.

Mount Pilchuck Lookout

I hiked Mount Pilchuck today and while it was raining and I didn't have a view from the lookout, the hike itself was fun and challenging. I will definitely do this again on a better day.

Rattlesnake Ledge

I hiked to Rattlesnake Ledge today. The hike was great and the ledge offered amazing views but the trail was super crowded.

Teneriffe Falls (Kamikaze Falls)

A great hike with a beautiful waterfall. There are some narrow spots on the switchbacks which make passing on a busy day tough. I saw some kids out there making the trek to the top but the parents did have to carry them often.
