This remote and scenic pond has been the sighting of Moose on several occasion.

This remote pond is located in the Moose River Plains Wild Forest. There is plenty of primitive camping in this area. Located along Moose River Road you will take a small road 0.3 miles to the parking area. From the parking are it is a 0.2 walk to the small launch dock.

The trail approaching the dock is wheelchair accessible.

The pond is remote; therefore, if your looking for solitude, you will find it.

I hike to push my limits both mentally and physically, take in the beauty of the great outdoors, and just to get away from it all. Every chance I get you will find me in the mountains, on a kayak or ending my day by the campfire!
