Kayak across Indian Lake to the trailhead for Baldface Mountain and hike to the summit for views of Snow and Blue Mountain.

Along Rt 30 you will park at the top of Miv Road and walk down the short road to the Indian Lake Marina. There is a small fee to launch here and the honor system is generally used. You will launch and paddle about 1 mile across Indian Lake to Normans Cove. Once in Normans Cove look for the trailhead to the left of the cove, where a sign is displayed next to a large rock.

Pull your kayaks ashore and begin your hike here following the red blazed trail to the summit. It is an easy ascent to great views of the area, from open ledges on the summit.

I hike to push my limits both mentally and physically, take in the beauty of the great outdoors, and just to get away from it all. Every chance I get you will find me in the mountains, on a kayak or ending my day by the campfire!
