Enjoy stunning pristine views of the Adirondack high peaks in a quiet wilderness area. 

You will start from the last parking area along Gulf Brook Road.  The road is a bit rough, higher clearance vehicle recommended.

Just past the gate is a kiosk and map. Don't forget to always sign in.  Just follow the road. At about 2.6 miles you will go over a bridge on the Boreas River.  Take a moment and enjoy the views from the bridge!

Just past this there will be a fork in the road. Stay right to head to the ponds/dam. Continue on the road past a cabin.

At 3.5 miles is another fork in the road again, stay right!  Just past this you reach the dam and the stunning views offered.

You will stunning views of some of the largest high peaks in New York including Marcy, Haystack & Gothics!
