A perfectly situated Gazebo sits with views of Lake George.

The land here is owned by the Lake George Land Conservancy. You have the possibility of doing two loops which I included as part of the 3.7 miles.

It is about a 500 foot ascent to the Gazebo. You will follow the Orange trail up. This can be a loop so choose which way you prefer to start. Views from the Gazebo below of Lake George include Northwest Bay and Assembly Point.

From the Gazebo you can continue on the Blue trail also making it another loop. This trail will also climb an additional 500 feet. This trail has several cascades, the highest being about 25 feet. The loop will lead you back to the Gazebo where you will then return the opposite trail of the original loop.

This is a great little hike if you're short on time and just want to get out for a bit!

I hike to push my limits both mentally and physically, take in the beauty of the great outdoors, and just to get away from it all. Every chance I get you will find me in the mountains, on a kayak or ending my day by the campfire!
