Spectacular hike with an awesome view of mountains in the horizon.

It's a reasonably easy hike with a great view at the top, this hike is definitely for an early riser, as its beautiful for sunrise as well. Starting the hike leaving the parking lot, head down to Awosting Lake Carriage Road is an easy hike as you walk there the colors are spectacular, reds, greens, yellows, orange are so vibrant. After a few miles you'll come across Rainbow Falls Trail and then Hamilton Carriage Road. When you reach the top its the perfect spot to enjoy panoramic views of Lake Awosting.

It’s not just the journey there that’s sublime, but the Blueberry bushes, Chestnut Oak trees and a numerous of different and colorful plants.

The trail can get crowded on weekends, so try and get there early, or go on the weekdays. Don't be fooled by the cars in the parking lot as most people aren't hiking.
