Description
Added by James Sisti
A weekend at Alder Lake is a haven for campers, anglers, and hikers alike! The beautiful lake, springs, and surrounding forest provide a variety of natural resources for an enjoyable outing.
In spring, the trail could be muddy due to snow melt. Exposed tree roots along the way with granite slabs at higher elevations. Trail is heavily forested except for a few clearings, windswept peaks, and ridges. Trailhead is frequently marked with red/yellow blazes and follows Alder Creek for much of the way.
No reservations are required, however, those who are interested in fishing require a fishing license.
