If you stay in Braga, the village before Manang, you can wake up and do this hike and be back by noon. It is a really good hike to acclimate because you get up above 4,000 meters. Just head up to the Monestary and follow the white and blue trail signs. This trail also goes up passed the view point and up to Ice Lake. Ice Lake is usually closed or inaccessible during winter/snowy months, but the viewpoint is always easy to get up to. About an hour hike to get up to the view point, another hour and a half or so to Ice Lake.
