Me and three other friends did this hike around 8.30 PM after having the itch to get up into the mountains! The trail was packed down so snowshoes were not necessary unless we wanted to go off the path and explore. Head lamps and flashlights are a must though the moonlight was bright. We dressed in a few layers and were good even though temps were in the low 20s. Overall it was a good easy hike and a quick easy get away! The Stars were beautiful and the clear air was incredible. The only concern is that there are many paths so remember which ones you choose on the return trip! Other than that I would recommend this adventure to anyone on any skill level.
